How Our Same-Day Process Works
Your appointment starts with a thorough consultation using advanced diagnostic tools, such as the iTero® digital scanner. We take 3D scans of your teeth, no messy impressions, and evaluate your bite, alignment, and jaw positioning. After reviewing your orthodontic treatment goals, Dr. A will discuss your best options and confirm if you’re eligible for same-day placement of braces or Invisalign. If so, we’ll begin treatment right away. The entire visit, including consultation and application, typically takes about 1-2 hours. You’ll leave our office with your braces in place and a custom care plan in hand.
Same-Day vs. Traditional Scheduling
Traditional braces appointments often require two separate visits—one for consultation and one for appliance placement. With same-day braces, there’s no need to come back for a second appointment, which can delay progress. Instead, our streamlined system enables you to start treatment immediately, without sacrificing quality of care or results.
Who Qualifies for Same-Day Braces?
Most patients, including kids, teens, and adults, qualify for same-day braces. You may be a candidate for traditional metal braces or Invisalign, both of which are available for same-day application. In some cases, more complex issues may require additional planning, or patients may choose Invisalign, which involves custom-made aligners that are ordered from a lab.

Same-day braces are competitively priced, and we offer flexible, interest-free financing options to make treatment affordable. Many insurance plans, (including Delta Dental, Aetna, Guardian, United Healthcare, Principle, Blue Shield, MetLife, Geha, Ameritas, United Concordia Dental) also cover a portion of the cost.
